What is Direct Primary Care
The health care field has changed and is causing a large amount of burnout especially in Primary care physicians. This burn out in turn is creating a shortage in patient centered, affordable, cost-efficient health care. The community is suffering greatly due to this change.
Triune Wellness is organized around the Direct Care Model for primary care medicine. This model focuses on providing affordable primary care in a manner where the patient has access to health care through in person visits, telehealth visits, phone calls, text messages and email. It is a model that allows the physician and patient to establish a partnership focused on whole person health through continuity of care and an ongoing relationship between provider and patient. It provides access to the individuals primary care provider at any time. The membership model allows the health care professional to focus on providing the best care without the constraints of insurance regulations or trying to see a certain number of patients in day to meet financial goals.

Triune Wellness is a primary care community based on the Direct Primary Care health model. This model is an “innovative alternative payment model improving access to high function healthcare with a simple, flat, affordable membership fee.” There are no fee-for-service payments or third party (insurance) billing. Triune Wellness is focused on a partnership with the patient in order to optimize health. The DPC model cultivates an enduring and trusting relationship between the patient and his or her primary care provider. Patients pay a monthly membership fee and have access to their primary care provider when they need them.
